Jeffrey Bridge completed his undergraduate studies at Rice University in electrical engineering in 2011.  His senior design project of an autopiloted fixed-wing UAV with Team Electric Owl won first place in the Texas Instruments Analog Design Contest.  After an internship with Blue Origin, he has been working full time at the company since 2012 on their reusable, vertical-takeoff-vertical-landing New Shepard suborbital rocket system.  In 2015, the New Shepard vehicle became the world’s first booster to successfully complete a powered vertical landing having come back from space.  Jeffrey worked on the sensor & actuator interfaces, power systems, flight safety, harnessing, radio communication, testing, and flight operations for this vehicle.
